Rules
Participants in Nexora Hacks 2026 are required to adhere to the following rules to ensure a fair, transparent, and professional competition environment.

Eligibility

Participation is open to students, professionals, and innovators worldwide unless prohibited by local law.

Individuals may participate solo or as part of a team, subject to the team size limits specified on the Devpost event page.

Organizers, judges, and event partners may participate as mentors but are not eligible to compete for prizes.

Team formation

Teams may be formed before or during the hackathon period.

Each participant may belong to only one team.

Team changes after submission deadlines are not permitted.

Original work

All submissions must be created during the official hackathon timeline.

Pre-existing code, datasets, or frameworks may be used provided they are clearly cited and their licenses permit such use.

Repackaging of previously submitted or publicly available projects without significant new innovation is not permitted.

Project ownership and IP

Teams retain ownership of all intellectual property they create.

By submitting, participants grant organizers the right to showcase project descriptions, screenshots, and demo videos for promotional and results purposes.

Use of AI tools

Use of AI models, APIs, or code-generation tools is permitted.

Participants must disclose AI tools or services used and their role in the project.

Fully auto-generated submissions without meaningful human contribution are not allowed.

Submission expectations

A complete Devpost submission is required by the deadline.

Incomplete or late submissions may be disqualified at the organizers’ discretion.

All required materials listed in the Submission Requirements section must be included.

Judging and decisions

Projects will be evaluated based on the published judging criteria.

The decisions of the judging panel and organizing team are final and binding.

Organizers reserve the right to move projects between tracks where appropriate.

Code of conduct and fair participation

Participants must engage respectfully and professionally with others.

Harassment, plagiarism, cheating, or sabotage of other teams is strictly prohibited.

Any violation may result in disqualification and removal from the event.

Use of third-party content

Submissions must comply with applicable copyright, license, and data-usage restrictions.

Use of proprietary or confidential information without authorization is prohibited.

Legal compliance

Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable local, national, and international laws.

Certain prize categories may have additional eligibility requirements due to legal or sponsor constraints.

Right to modify event terms

Organizers reserve the right to update rules, schedules, and prize structures where necessary.
